Nearly everyone experiences something at some point in their life that exceeds their resources to cope.
When this happens, you might begin to experience feelings of toxic shame, anxiety, mood disruption, sleep disruption, isolation or avoidance of people or places or situations, impulsivity, irritability, aggressiveness, relationship problems, or feelings of un-safety in your relationships, your surroundings, or even within yourself.
I integrate concepts from Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Polyvagal Theory (PVT), somatic psychology, parts work/ego states/IFS, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help you become aware of your internal cues and access an internal sense of safety when it truly is safe to do so, allowing you to connect with yourself, others, nature, God, and the world around you.
Methods and Approaches
I draw from a variety of approaches that integrate the mind-body-spirit in the healing work of trauma resolution.
